SOSi is currently seeking several On-Site Coordinators to support a large language services contract in the CENTCOM AOR. The program supports various USSOCOM elements, units, and task forces in the CENTCOM AOR. The On-Site Coordinators will assist the OC-Site Managers and help oversee linguist personnel at a specific site within the Middle East, Southwest Asia or the Horn of Africa.

Essential Job Duties

  • Assist the On-Site Manager in supervising a group of cleared and potentially uncleared linguists at a specific site within the Middle East, Southwest Asia or the Horn of Africa; have day-to-day contact with and visibility of the linguist workforce at that location.

  • Receive and execute technical taskings from the On-Site Manager.

  • Meet with linguists frequently to ascertain health and well-being, unit satisfaction, etc.

  • Implement and facilitate continuous process improvements.

  • Coordinate resolutions to linguist performance-related problems with the Program Manager Site Manager and the lead Government official at the assigned site.

  • OSCs assist the OSM and to adequately supervise all on-site Contractor personnel during performance of this contract.

  • OSCs will reside at the forward Headquarters (HQ) of Task Force elements or other Task Force locations as designated by the COR.

  • OSCs shall assist the OSM in coordinating the work locations with the designated on-site Government representative and the COR to ensure requirements and logistics of the contract are being met.

  • OSC’s shall be responsible for coordinating all aspects of deployment and re-deployment of Contractor personnel with the Contractor PM and COR coordination and approval.

This position requires full-time residence in an OCONUS locations in the Middle East, Southwest Asia or the Horn of Africa.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Secret clearance.

  • Ability to meet and sustain all USSOCOM and CRC pre-deployment and deployment medical and dental screening process requirements.

  • A minimum of one-year of managerial experience at the operational/tactical level of warfare within DoD or equivalent Government agencies.

  • High School graduate, with bachelor’s degree preferred. In lieu of education requirement, the Government may, at its discretion, accept actual, extensive work-related experience managing personnel in a DTAAC or ODTAAC as a substitute.

  • Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional years of general experience in Special Operations or significant knowledge of Special Operations is highly desirable.

  • Experience in CENTCOM AO regional/political/military issues is highly desirable, but not required.

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Work Environment

  • Residence and work location is within the USCENTCOM AOR.

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.

  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

  • Personnel should be prepared to move on short notice and under adverse conditions.
