SOS International LLC Marketing Campaign Director in Reston, Virginia

Overview

SOSi is seeking a Marketing Campaign Director to develop and execute targeted marketing and communications campaigns that support our contract pursuits.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in integrated campaigns, demand generation, content marketing, social media, paid and organic strategies, along with a passion for data and analytics to demonstrate campaign success and impact. The Campaign Director will develop close partnerships with business development, business units, the office of the CTO, marcomm, and other cross-functional teams to understand contract requirements and U.S. government agency needs, and determine how to effectively differentiate and position SOSi as the leading partner in the contract pursuit.

This position reports to the Vice President, Marketing and Communications.

Essential Job Duties

  • Understand the schedule of SOSi’s contract pursuits and map out an integrated marketing campaign strategy to ensure effective agency and contract decision-maker engagement prior to contract award.

  • Gain deep understanding of SOSi capabilities, current contract work, and critical past performance.

  • Establish strong and productive partnerships with company leaders to develop win strategies and utilize their expertise and insight to differentiate SOSi business.

  • Create compelling messaging and positioning to establish authority and credibility while differentiating from the competition, clearly aligning our capabilities and expertise to key needs of the U.S. government customer.

  • Guide and develop strategic content (written and multi-media), use cases and case studies, website strategies and landing page development, organic and paid strategies, thought leadership, social strategies, and other tactics in support of campaigns.

  • Provide regular updates and reporting on campaign impacts, deliverables, and timelines.

  • Measure, analyze, report, and help optimize campaign performance.

  • Develop and manage the marketing campaign budget, ensuring maximum ROI.

Minimum Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant marketing and communications experience, with specific experience developing marketing campaigns and programs focused U.S. government contract pursuits.

  • Proven ability to take a customer-first approach to building campaign journeys and experiences.

  • Experience with HubSpot.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to take industry jargon and translate into benefits-focused and mission-driven language.

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion in the handling of sensitive business and personal matters.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, including the executive suite.

  • Excellent demonstrated organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited U.S. college or university.

Work Environment

  • Normal office work enviornment.

  • Occasional travel.

  • Long and demanding hours (including nights and weekends) may be required at times.
