Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen, MD to provide leadership and technical expertise for maintaining the readiness of all MilTech environments. In this role, you will play an key part in delivering information management solutions to our government customer.
Essential Job Duties
Lead the infrastructure team responsible for a diverse range of engineering and hosting activities including performance monitoring, performance analysis, systems architecture, and general debugging.
Perform network engineering functions including conceptualization, design, implementation, and optimization.
Stay knowledgeable in the application of current and emerging network software, hardware and cloud technology and protocols in the Army and DoD environment.
Maintain extensive and expert knowledge of SQL servers.
Minimum Requirements
CompTIA Security+CE.
Experience with Virtualization software (VMWare, Cloud virtualization).
Experience with cloud operations using Microsoft Azure or AWS in Platform as a Service (PaaS) and IaaS.
Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert or AWS Solutions Architect.
Active Secret clearance.
Work Environment
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Working on-site on a military facility in Aberdeen, MD.
Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
