SOS International LLC Sustainment Branch Manager in Fort Huachuca, Arizona

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Sustainment Branch Manager at Fort Huachuca, AZ in support of a large, mission-critical IT services and support program with continuous (24x7) operations. The Sustainment Branch Manager reports to the Sustainment Division Manager and responsible for the technical requirements and SLAs associated with the Sustainment Division mission. The Sustainment Branch Manager is responsible for Access Management, Reception, Web Development, Administration & Logistics requirements.

Essential Job Duties

  • Ensures the successful delivery of services under specific Performance Work Statement (PWS) elements supported by the Sustainment Branch.

  • Focus on continuous process improvements seeking efficiencies and effectiveness of operational support services for stakeholders.

  • Oversee ITIL foundational services such as continual process improvement, cost control, mission planning, and opportunities for organizational efficiencies which include development of tools, assets management (HW/SW) for lifecycle management and property accountability; and security control to protect managed DODIN-A services (NIPRNet and SIPRNet).

  • Contribute to all devices managed by the by assuring they are fully mission capable using Government-provided tools, processes, and/or manual procedures to verify managed devices for outages, performance issues, and services degradations.

  • Maintain Continual Process Improvement (CPI) / Continual Service Improvement (CSI) to improve the overall quality of services delivered.

  • Organize sustainment and support services enabling the protection, monitoring, analysis, detection, and response to unauthorized activity within the DoD Information Systems and Networks.

  • Review all systems development project requests and coordinate schedules and related departmental activity.

  • Advise on the feasibility of potential future projects to upper management.

  • Contribute to ensuring the holistic achievement of the availability and security requirements of the PWS.

  • Contribute to the development, documentation, and sustainment management methods for device maintenance and maintains TTPs to sustain the mission.

  • Assess new services, technologies, software tools, and network devices that may improve abilities to proactively monitor performance, remediate concerns, and offer recommendations for improvement.

  • Support Defensive Cyber Operations requirements by providing support services for the protection, monitoring, analysis, detection, and response to unauthorized activity within the Sustainment Branch.

  • Follow ITIL best practices to manage tickets and processes.

  • Maintains SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Participate in special projects as required and actively collaborates with Government Technical Managers, fellow Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs, and senior Leadership.

  • Supervisory duties include but are not limited to reporting and timekeeping; technical/administrative training; communications with the government; ensuring high quality service delivery or reports; scheduling to effectively utilize all team resources; support management decision-making; committing to quality management standards, QA/QC compliance, and metrics analysis.

  • Provide sound guidance to contract staff in the absence of instructions; ensuring teams perform to established standards. This includes performance feedback for direct reports, as well as second-level approvals.

  • Nominate employees for recognition and awards; provide mentorship for leadership development.

  • Participate in leadership development and succession planning for program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer science, or relevant discipline AND eight (8) years’ experience (Master's Degree preferred)

  • Experience substitution in lieu of education: Associate degree + 10 years’ experience OR High School Diploma + 12 years’ experience.

  • ITIL foundation certification

  • Knowledgeable in the mission and operational requirements of the U.S. Army

  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Management, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • ITIL v4 certification

  • PMP Certification

  • 3-5 years or more of supervisory experience

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
