SOS International LLC DoDIN Operations Division Manager in Fort Huachuca, Arizona

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a DoDIN Operations Division Manager at Fort Huachuca, AZ in support of a large, mission-critical IT services and support program with continuous (24x7) operations. The DoDIN Operations Division Manager reports to the Program Director and is responsible for all technical requirements and SLAs associated with the DoDIN Operations Division Mission.

Essential Job Duties

  • Leads exceptional service delivery within the DoDIN Operations Division to include all Enterprise Applications, Operation Systems, Network Support, and WAN.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all DoDIN Operations and assist Program Management in the technical leadership, compliance, and overall performance of the DoDIN-A.

  • Develop and promote standard operating procedures.

  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

  • Maintain service delivery compliance.

  • Operate and maintain systems in accordance with DOD, US Army, NETCOM, and DISA policies and TTPs.

  • Work with senior management and peers for strategy development and execution planning.

  • Work across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals.

  • Ensure clarity on priorities and goals for the entire division.

  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to subordinate staff and ensure projects remain on schedule until the project is complete.

  • Train and mentor staff to grow and improve both technical and soft skills.

  • Share knowledge and experience promoting cross training to reduce mission silos and single points of failure within organizational processes and function areas.

  • Provide recommendations to staff and senior leaders on ways to improve overall customer service, efficiency, and effectiveness of US Army TTP and organizational SOPs.

  • Work independently in a senior management role; set priorities, assigns tasks to team members and organize work to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrate leadership abilities to build and maintain a cohesive and highly functional team.

  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all stakeholders.

  • Assess new services, technologies, software tools, and network devices that may improve abilities to proactively monitor performance, remediate concerns, and offer recommendations for improvement.

  • Maintain Continual Process Improvement (CPI) / Continual Service Improvement (CSI) to improve the overall quality of services delivered.

  • Support DCO requirements by providing support services for the protection, monitoring, analysis, detection, and response to unauthorized activity within the DoD Information Systems and Networks.

  • Develop and/or maintain SOPs, TTPs, and SmartBooks associated with current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.

  • Collaborate with external agencies, LE/CI, GTMs, Branch Chiefs, Division Chiefs and Leadership.

  • Supervisory duties include but are not limited to: reporting and timekeeping; technical/administrative training; communications with the government; ensuring high quality service delivery or reports; scheduling to effectively utilize all team resources; support management decision-making; committing to quality management standards, QA/QC compliance, and metrics analysis. Approve team schedules ensuring mission coverage.

  • Provide sound guidance to contract staff in the absence of instructions; ensuring teams perform to established standards. This includes performance feedback for direct reports, as well as second-level approvals.

  • Nominate employees for recognition and awards; provide mentorship for leadership development.

  • Participate in leadership development and succession planning for the program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Secret clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, or a related field AND eight (8) years’ experience

  • Experience substitution in lieu of education: Associate degree + 10 years’ experience OR High School Diploma + 12 years’ experience.

  • IAM Level II Certification (CAP, CASP+ CE, CCISO, CISM, CISSP (or Associate), or GSLC) or higher is required

  • CCNA Certification

  • ITIL Foundation certification

  • Knowledgeable in the mission and operational requirements of the U.S. Army

  • Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Army IT operational and technical requirements and Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Must be willing to work overtime, after hours, holidays, and weekends, as necessary

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Organizational Management, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, National Security Strategy, or a related field

  • CISSP certification

  • ITIL v4 certification

  • PMP Certification

  • 3-5 years or more of supervisory experience

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.

  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
