SOS International LLC Security Cooperation Logistics Lead in Bogota, Colombia

Overview

This position is contingent upon contract award

SOSi is seeking a Security Cooperation Logistics Lead to provide logistics, transportation, shipping, and customs support for a U.S. Government program in Bogota, Colombia.

Essential Job Duties

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall TO performance.

  • Serves as principal interface with the on-site customer and subcontractor personnel during task order execution.

  • Responsible for the quality and efficiency on the contract, including both technical performance and business processes.

  • Coordinates with the Government regarding issues, concerns, and comments. Alerts the customer to potential contractual or programmatic and resource limitations issues.

  • Requires extensive interaction with technical and administrative personnel from the Government and other teamed companies.

  • Ensures contract compliance.

  • Manages cost and schedule to ensure the financial performance of the task order.

  • Prepare and submit reports.

  • Manage workforce of US and Colombian citizens ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Top Secret/SCI clearance.

  • Language proficiency: English at the +2 level on the DLPT or equivalent.

  • Five (5) years managing operations, maintenance, and logistics in the U.S. Military.

  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 years of relevant professional.

  • Candidate must have superior communications and organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding customer relations.

  • Experience leading organizations of 50+ employees.

  • Knowledge of the Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-Army), logistics systems, and procedures.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing projects with multiple OCONUS performance locations.

  • Subcontract management experience highly preferred.

  • Experience managing a local national workforce.

Work Environment

  • Living and working conditions are in established facilities in an urban environment.

  • Place of Performance: Offices, warehouses, motor pools, and maintenance facilities in Bogota, Colombia.
